Terrace Floors & Furnishings teamed up with the DIA, NAG and Danish carpet manufacturer ege for the first South Australian based rug design competition in 2013 and we very honoured to be awarded as the 1st Runner up. Our design “Mood Swing” : Like looking through a prism, Mood Swings uses beautiful soft fragmented imagery to create imaginations unique to each viewer. There is a feeling of quiet movement from the fractured light and colour patterns. Basic geometry and carefully selected block colours in cascading gradients adopt the mood of any room. In the search for individuality and uniqueness, this carpet could be a centrepiece or just a backdrop. A carpet that is also a colour palette, a designer can highlight any colour to take the room in a any totally different direction. Such versatility will extend lifespan or the carpet, which will be at home in any locations, trends and life changes.
